Here is our 6.0 Powerstroke & 6.6 Duramax unison ring and VGT arm.
This unison ring and VGT arm fits 2003-2007 Ford 6.0 Powerstroke (GT3782VA & GT37VAS) turbo chargers found on the Ford F250, F350, F450, F550 pickup truck and E350 E450 Vans.
Ford F650 F750 cab and chassis model 6.0 Powerstroke trucks commonly have a VT365 or GT3571VA turbo that does not use the same unison ring and arm as the GT37VAS turbo. The VNT365 turbo can be replaced with a GT37VAS turbo as an upgrade.
This kit also fits 2004.5 - 2016 Chevy Duramax turbo chargers found on the LLY, LBZ, LMM, LML (GT3788VA).
The Problem: The bearing housing rusts over time, the rust expands and causes the unison ring to stick or get completely stuck. The actuator forces the actuator arm to try to move the unison ring and vanes. The resistance caused by the rust trapping the ring causes the unison ring and VGT gear to wear out.
The Solution: Replacing the worn unison ring and the VGT arm restores the performance back to original when the turbo was new. The rust does need to be removed from the bearing housing and turbine housing. The cleaned surfaces can be painted or adding a small amount of anti-seize to prevent the rust from coming back as much as possible.
